[ethereal] is a hardware startup that was founded in July of 2025. Our mission is is to build a true Linux spatial computer in the form of light and fashionable smart glasses. We plan on doing so by being the first use Light Field displays in our head mounted device and a custom Linux distribution embedded on our compute puck.

We are a team of Augmented Reality enthusiasts with a passion for open development, and to make our vision a reality, we have partnered with the developers of a popular Linux distribution.
